At the Journal of Pharmaceutical Research and Integrated Medical Sciences (JPRIMS), we take pride in our rigorous, transparent, double-blind peer review process. This procedure ensures our published research's quality, credibility, and impartiality. Here's an overview of our peer review process:
1. Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through our user-friendly online submission system.
2. Initial Assessment
Upon submission, our editorial team conducts an initial assessment to ensure that the manuscript adheres to our submission guidelines and is suitable for peer review.
3. Double-Blind Review
- Assignment: The manuscript is assigned to two expert reviewers with relevant expertise in the field. These reviewers are carefully selected to maintain anonymity.
- Blind Review: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript without knowledge of the authors' identities, and vice versa. This double-blind process ensures an unbiased assessment.
4. Peer Review Evaluation
Reviewers thoroughly evaluate the manuscript, considering factors such as originality, methodology, significance, and presentation.
5. Reviewer Recommendations
- Acceptance: If both reviewers recommend acceptance, the manuscript moves to the acceptance stage.
- Revision: If reviewers suggest revisions, authors are invited to make the necessary improvements.
- Rejection: If reviewers recommend rejection, the manuscript undergoes further assessment by our editorial team.
6. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer recommendations and editorial evaluation, the Editor-in-Chief makes a final decision:
- Acceptance: The manuscript is accepted for publication.
- Minor Revisions: Authors are required to address minor revisions suggested by reviewers.
- Major Revisions: Authors must make significant revisions and resubmit the manuscript.
- Rejection: Manuscripts that do not meet our quality standards may be rejected.
7. Author Revision
Authors have the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback and editorial recommendations.
8. Final Review
Revised manuscripts undergo a final review to ensure that all revisions have been appropriately addressed.
9. Publication
Accepted manuscripts are published in the next available issue.
10. Post-Publication Engagement
Engage with your readers and the global research community through our interactive platform. Discuss your research findings, answer questions, and contribute to ongoing scientific dialogue. Our commitment to double-blind peer review ensures that your research is rigorously evaluated and that our readers can trust the quality of the content we publish. We value transparency, integrity, and collaboration, and our peer review process is a testament to these principles.
